First Harvest of Spring – Wild Foods!

While our first seedlings are still growing, explore the wonderful world of edible “weeds” – wild mushrooms, ramps and more!

Welcome to your home away from home. Our beautifully crafted rooms have plenty of space to stretch out and we hope you’ll join us in the Sun Room or explore the property where you’ll find all kinds of beautiful hidden gems, earthly and otherwise.

  • Fun Activities. Saturday morning get your hands dirty and join Farm Manager Adam Buggy when we tend the farm’s first seedlings of the season! Saturday afternoon Mushroom Guru Rana Justice will lead us on a foraging adventure through our woods and fields including a stop at our ramp nursery. During our Saturday Dinner Cooking Class Culinary Director Tracy Hayhurst will lead everyone in creating a fabulous meal with the day’s harvest.
  • Optional Fun. Sunday morning Foraging Scavenger Hunt! Hit the trails around town to use your new identification skills. See how many wild edibles you can spot on your own.
  • Goody Bag. We’ll never let you leave without a treat or two to remember us by.
