Treat your loved one to a weekend of remarkable cooking experiences during this romantic winter farm to table weekend.
After settling in to your beautiful room on Friday we’ll kick off the weekend with Welcome Cocktails with Farmer Brett Ellis. Meet our farmer Brett and hear about his plans for the new season at Husky Meadows and his experiences as Head Gardner at The French Laundry.
Followed by a multi course dinner around our farm table. Our intimate setting allows guests to gather and get to know one another in a convivial relaxed setting.
Being in the countryside, our winter evenings are always dark and perfect for stargazing. At the farm we enjoy being outside, gathered around the fire in all seasons. After dinner snuggle up by the fire with your love and a warm blanket sipping hot drinks and enjoy the stars!
On Saturday after breakfast and a tour of the farm we’ll delve into hands on activities in the kitchen:
Morning: bread baking: sourdough focaccia, sweet dough for Sunday brunch cinnamon rolls
Afternoon: chocolate truffles and pasta
Saturday evening we’ll make a winter Italian dinner:
Oysters with nduja
Ravioli with ricotta, butternut squash, sage and summer roasted tomatoes
Pan roasted grass fed rib eye steaks with rosemary and garlic, braised endive and fennel
Paired with some of our favorite Italian Wines.
